Alan Johnson has been performing professionally for over 30 years in almost every kind of arena and venue imaginable. His comedy/juggling act has been seen at the Renaissance Festival, in comedy clubs in NY and LA, colleges, trade shows, cruise ships, churches, scouting events, and has been enjoyed across the country and around the world.
Alan began his career in the Twin Cities and then spent fourteen years living and working in Hollywood. As an actor, he’s appeared at the Guthrie Theater, the Old Log Theater, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, and other regional theatres across the country. Alan’s acting talents have been used in numerous radio and television commercials and for such companies as Hanna-Barbera, PorchLight Entertainment and Focus on the Family and other corporate & community events. Corporate clients include: IBM, GMC, the NFL, Dairy Queen, State Farm, the Minnesota Twins, Best Buy, Target, and the Boy Scouts of America. He’s appeared in numerous films and television shows including: Spiderman, The Babe, Thin Ice, and ER. His comedy juggling act has been a favorite of county fairs, library programs, Blue & Gold Banquets, and other community events. In addition, he received his acting training in the BFA program at the University of Minnesota on an Evans Scholarship and is an Eagle Scout.
Alan’s performance is age appropriate, hilariously funny, and can be enjoyed by any audience and adapted to any product or occasion. His unique style of humor, audience participation and exceptional one-of-a-kind juggling keeps audiences thoroughly entertained.
